If I bought the trackpad and upper case part of the Powerbook 12" could I replace my iBook trackpad and upper case? I would rather have a metal case but I'm not sure if it would fit. Does anyone know if replacing part of the case would void the warranty?

Yes it would void your warranty if possible which I doubt.

NO. First of all the inards of an ibook and a 12 inch Pb is very diffrent. The dimemsions on the ibook and 12inch pb are also diffrent. If you want metal get a powerbook

oh and it does void your warranty
