New Firmware Update messed up my internet!

Can someone help?! I added the new firmware update and now my internet doesn't work or my iChat. I am so frustrated!!!
 
You're going to have to be more specific than that.

How are you connected (ethernet/wireless)? What's the error message that you're getting? Have you even run Network Diagnostics yet?

What computer
what OS
How does it normally connect to the internet
any error messages
what firmware update
have you tried rebooting

that should give a good start
