Printer installation problem.... help

I just got my 1.8 g5 today and everything is smooth but one thing. I cant set upi printer even though it says it works for osx and i have osx install cd.
I have All-in-on HP PSC 750.
During assistant installation of the printer right when u click finish it does something for like i waited like 20 mins, but i dont think it's normal. If I force quit this thing and try to print anything, job get stopped and i cant start it again.
I have no idea what to do and hp site provides no help at all...
any syuggestions?

Well, it looks like it's trying to write it's settings and can't do it. So I would guess there is a privileges problem. Does the HP installer prompt you to enter an Administrator's name and password?
