Macbook Very Loud?

It seems as though my macbook is running very loud the fan is always on and I am only running maybe one app.

I got a widget that tells the temperature and it is saying my cpu is at 72 degrees and fan is at 5790 rpm

Whats up with it? It just seems like it is working to hard for nothing

Did you open Activity Monitor and view all the processes to see what else is running?
