I always have Stuffit and The Unarchiver - together they can handle all the compression formats I need...

You can't unzip a rar file, you have to unrar it. 😛
Stuffit supports rar.

Try UnRarX
Sometimes this happens in stuffit if the files need to be connected together...
I.e 100mb split files from rapidshare etc.

MacPAR Deluxe is much better than unrarx, though both are good and excel in different situations. MacPAR Deluxe lets you cue up files to un rar, it lets you create par2 files, it has a nice graphical interface, it auto checks other files in the folder for additional blocks, it intelligently renames rar file names rather than just telling you that the files are missing when they're actually present but misnamed, and more.
