You can always reinstall something. Just delete it and its prefs and then reinstall it from the .pkg using pacifist.
Btw, mines working fine on 10.2.8, however my transparent dock app isn't working anymore. Oh well, I only used it to add some stuff to the menus. I didn't actually make it transparent so no biggy.
10.2.8 installs a new version of the dock.app. It states somewhere that it may have issues with third party applications like dock modifiers and such. The solution that others have come up with (there is already a thread about this) is to indeed reinstall the dock.app.
Well I cant delete the Dock.app in Core Services, I tried ctrl clickin on it, but there is no delete option. I also tried the cmd+delete keys, and logging on as root, but the sucker just wont delete!!
Have you tried simply removing your Dock preference file from ~/Library/Preferences? You'll lose your settings, but will probably get it back the fastest.
