I don't think she'll appreciate the low-ball offer. She could get AT LEAST 1000 off ebay.

This Hug69 has to be the lowest of lowballers I have ever seen. He is Ohnad on the Macnn forum and he likes to tell people their $2500 machine is only worth $12 and they should sell it to him for $2.

what are you talking about ?
do you think a G4 867 is worth $1600 to $2000 ?

the current street value is $900 to $1000 !

if i offer $800, what is the problem with that ?

i am offering $800, if the person does want a little more, he let me know and we discuss and and find a fairer price for both of us.
that is called the free market !

and if i am not involved in a sale, i will mind my own business.
thanks.

The thing is, the street value IS NOT 900-1000 dollars. You can just barely get a default config Quicksilver 733 for $800. I should know, I've been looking. Given this is about a year newer with a superdrive, more ram, and more hd space, it easily fetches 1000+ on ebay.

I'd say SHE'LL want more than "a little more" than 800 dollars.

He's the same guy that lowballs everyone at macprices.com. This same setup he said was worth 700...a dual 1gig was worth 1250, etc.

Anyway....hope you get it sold Natalie. If it really was only worth 900, I'd be interested, but I know you can get more than that on ebay.

IF I HAVE TO SPEND MORE THAN $1000, I WOULD GO TO APPLESTORE AND
BUY A FASTER REFURBISHED TOWER AND GET A ONE YEAR WARRANTY.
I WONT SPEND MORE THAN $1000 ON A OUT OF WARRANTY COMPUTER

SUPERDRIVE IS NOTHING SINCE YOU CAN GET ONE FOR ONLY $134 AT
MEGAMAC.COM

APPLE SELL CHEAPER AND FASTER MACHINES LESS THAN $1400 AT THE LINK BELOW AND THEY HAVE IN STOCK !
GO CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF MR MORALITY.

Good for you. why don't you buy one there instead of lowballing everyone.

The market value isn't what you think it is....it's what someone will pay for it. Just because you won't pay a price doesn't mean someone else won't.

Again...my apologies to Natalie for the ot posts. This guy really irritates me.

edit: By the time you add the superdrive, 512mb of ram, taxes and shipping to your Apple.com computers, you're looking at another 350 dollars on top of that price. Not such a great deal now, is it. Seems the market value on your 1400 dollar mac is really about 1750 dollars

I just like to cause trouble. Not only does he lowball, but there is an element of force and nastiness like " take my cheap a$$ offer and be happy !"

As a whole, I think the package is worth ( to me) 1300-1400.

The $800 wasn't the lowest lowball offer. I am referring more to the other ones I have seen you do. Hey, I am not insulting you, I think it is actually funny. Actually, maybe I am insulting you.

Oh well, grow some skin....
