anyone done Html emails?

I'm looking to send a fancy html email out to family and friends, and i know how to do that, but i know a few people that dont have html capable email clients, so i was going to make a html page and throw it on my server for them,
but is there a way in the email for the non html capable clients to not show the mess of html tags and only show the hyper link to the page on the server?

Yes. You can send one of each and the email client will figure it out. I use a mass email program called DADA mail. Takes about 15 minutes to set up, upload your template and put [dada] where ever you want the message to show. I've used it personally and I have about 5-7 clients using it.

Oh, forgot about this one too.

It's very good, but very convoluted.

If you're running Leopard your Mac's own Mail program has some nice HTML email templates built in. I'm not sure how they do for swapping out text only for those who can't receive HTML, but it's worth looking into.
