pocket pc sync with mac

Got my iPaq back from the fixit store and it works. Anything new in the way of sync-ing software between the ipaq and the Mac?? I'm thinking of buying a cheap Palm just to sync with my Mac. I do very basic calendar, notes, appointments, contact stuff.
