Wireless woes

Ok so I finally decided to install Vista Ultimate on my imac (core duo 1.83) and here's the story:
The installation finishes. Vista runs very smooth, surprisingly better than the faster core 2 duo's at my work. I then realize some functions of the keyboard aren't working (10-key etc) so I decide to install the drivers off the leopard cd. Here's where all hell breaks loose. Once the installation finishes my keyboard and mouse no longer work. I tried turning them off and on several times w/ no success. I tried powering on/off but still no controls. I only have the apple wireless keyboard and mouse. Keep in mind my leopard cd is stuck now cause I have no keyboard use and I can't go back to osx b/c I can't use the alt key at bootup either. Any slick tricks? Do I need to go buy a freakin corded mouse just to get access?

get access to a usb mouse and then go in to the bluetooh and set them both up by clicking on add

word of waring click the don't create a passkey for me when it come to the wireless mouse and you should gain access to the wireless mouse after this

it took me numours times to get the keyboard to work i done the following click on don't create a passkey for me when it came to setting the keyboard

if it fails to install the keyboard drives look for a services menu in the bluetooth options and keep installing the drivers by unticking and ticking the box that how i done it

if anyone got a better way post pretty plz

Update

Ok so I picked up a cheap $10 usb mouse and got everything working. The only lame thing is everytime I boot into vista I have to manually resync the keyboard. The mouse automatically syncs everytime like it should. Did I mention I can't believe how fast it is? Holy crap I've used vista on some fairly nice machines but I can't believe how fast it runs on an almost 2 year old mac
