I'd like to run an Xgrid at home to encode video with Virsualhub. I have many macs here at home and I'd like to put them to use since I have many TB's of video to convert. I would like to purchase OS X Server and install it on my home iMacs to be able to use Xgrid.

The only thing I wonder is this: is OS X Server the same as a standard install of Leopard + added functionality or am I going to miss some Leopard functionality, given that the Server version is not intended for home use?

I don't want to buy and install 10.5 Server and then regret it because it has shortcomings for home use...

Can anyone help? Does anyone have experience using OS X 10.5 Server?
