Stopping Iphoto from opening when i plug in iphone

Open the Image Capture application, and in Preferences, where it says "When a camera is connected, open...", select "No Application".
 
Yah. I posted the steps a while back. Do a search for "iphoto launch" or something like that.

Basically you need to launch that image view app (name i can not remember) and unset the pref to launch that app when every a camera is connected.

Edit: Thanks Skunk. I ALWAYS forget the name of "Image Capture". I never use it.
