Problems with AIM 4.6

Whenever I change the preferences in AIM (specifically the ability to log IMs) I get the error message that says I don't have enough memory available.

I have no programs open and tried to uninstall/install and restart.

maybe it means storage. how many MB/GB do you have free? And is the folder that the logs are saved to in any device low on storage?

Oh sorry.. the computer this is happening on is a new 15" PB, that is why it seemed odd to me.

Memory errors....reminds me of OS 9.

Don't know what to tell you. Seems like you want to use AIM over iChat, but I would recommend other IM apps like Fire and Proteus.

Personally I never liked AIM, I got Adium...

Adiumx.com

They are also coming out with 2.0 version with a *ton* of new features, but that is beta...

AIM is really buggy, always has...
