How do I find the resolution of a video file?

Hit Command-J in Quicktime.

Open the file in QT and hit "command-I".

If you want more information than resolution, there are Mac apps for this:

Both install an additional Finder context menu so you just point at the media file, right click, then select Service, then the app name. Invisor lets you compare the parameters of multiple files side by side.

Unlike still photos, Exif data for video is less standardized. It is often not possible to extract the ISO, aperture or shutter speed from video files. It varies with the camera.
