restoring keyboard shortcuts

ok, so somehow the keyboard controls for volume and iTunes navigation have disappeared on me... how do I get them back? the options aren't listed in the system preferences.

edit: yay figured it out... ignore the thread.
 
please let us know how you fixed this for the benefit of others in the future that experience this problem.
