Safari keeps resetting my homepage

Safari keeps resetting my homepage to the Netscape homepage despite my manually restting back to my own. Anyone have a fix for this or seen this problem before?

Try going into System Preferences, the Internet pane, click the Web tab. try entering a new one there. For some reason Apple has this odd redundancy with browser prefs/Internet control pane...

If that doesn't help, try repairing permissions, that might be the culprit--

What's the shortcut to repair prefs? And what exactly does it do - anything I should be concerned about?
