Does anyone have a solution for uninstalling the latest version of Inquisitor for Safari?

All my searches either mention that it's hiding in a folder that I don't seem to have, or that the installer includes an 'uninstall' option which I can't for the life of me find, it just insists on reinstalling itself over and over. 😕

Any help would be much appreciated. 🙂

Aaah that's the mistake I was making. Didn't realise it had to be from root, I was trying to find it in the Library for my User account 😱

Thanks for clarifying. 🙂

It used to be in the users library folder but as of 10.5 it won't work in that folder anymore. 😉

Here are some more detailed uninstall instructions for Inquisitor.
The files you need to trash to get rid of Inquisitor completely are the following:

Inquisitor.bundle (in Library/InputManagers/Inquisitor/)
Inquisitor folder (in "user=you"/Library/Application Support/)
inquisitor.pkg (in Library/Receipts/)
inquisitorPreflight.pkg (also in Library/Receipts/)
inquisitor folder (in Library/InputManagers/)

Thank You for the detailed locations in deleting Inquisitor.
I tried it and decided to uninstall it. You made it easy to find
it and delete it. Thanks

Did you look in /Library/InputMangers? It's not in ~/Library.

Thank you, byakuya, for that help. I, too, tried Inquisitor and hated it. I'm glad to have Google back.

Not sure I understand why since one of the selectable options for Inquisitor is to use the Google search engine! 😛

Safari -> Preferences -> Search -> Inquisitor -> Search Engine:

Regards.
