Best Value for Game Controller for Madden

I just bought Madden '08 for Mac. I'm wondering what the best game controller for this game on a Mac would be.

Personally, best means "best controller at best price"

Does this work with a Mac? Do you have one yourself?

I've tested it on a number of programs, but not madden. I've used it on Stepmania and a bunch of random emulators.

If Madden doesn't support it natively, use gamepad companion. You can download it here The program is $15, but it supports just about every gamepad out there...

I know you probably dont want to spend the money. But the XBOX 360 Controller is outstanding.

Has anyone gotten a ps2 controller to actually work. The joy stick works, but none of the buttons work. I dled the gamepad companion but that program is confusing and waste.
