Friends MBP's DVD Drive is significantly faster than mine....

Both me and my buddy bought SR MBP's in August. I got the 2.4, he got the 2.2.

His DVD Drive Reads, DVD's/CD's and burns DVD's much much faster than mine.

Anything I can do/test?
 
Well, there's the Apple Hardware Test that came on the install discs. How have you tested the difference already?
