iPhone Battery shows Full but dies in few mins

My iPhone shows the battery full but dies in few mins. It forces me to plugin and once i plugin, in 2 mins, it shows that the battery is full.

I did restore, tried restart(kinda Microsoft techniques) but nothing worked.

Anybody has the same problem?

Did you try plugging it into a outlet?

I did plug it in .. in 2 mins it shows me the battery is full.

But did you plug it into an actual wall outlet as opposed to the computer?

Sometimes if the battery is really depleted it doesn't charge properly from USB and needs the wall.
