Indicate which of the above terms you are familiar with. This will separate the men from the slightly younger men.

Winner gets a text-based surprise!

Ah, such old times. I didn't know what At Ease or PC Exchange were (and still don't remember them after a search on Google); I remembered the others though!

This is the stuff I grew up on in school - all the way from the 3rd grade though my senior year of HS was done on Macs - none of which had OS X. It wasn't out yet.

Actually, I'm familiar with all of them. (Maybe this is just me showing my age.)

However, I think you missed some. Allow me to enumerate:

  • ADB
  • IWM / SWIM
  • RAM Resistor Snipping
  • Signatures Inside of Cases
  • SCSI
  • Crystal Raider / Crystal Quest
  • MacMan (both the game and the joystick adapter)
  • MacCharlie
  • Dynabrick / MacLuggable
  • DiskDup+
  • Dark Castle
  • AppleTalk (the hardware, not just the protocol)
  • Bernoulli drives
  • FDHD
  • Timbuktu
  • TOPS network software
  • Font/DA Mover
  • Mode32
  • CMD + OPT + X + O (Remember which Mac this worked on?)
  • Adobe Type Manager

Platinum was also the official name of the case colour from around the time the SE/30 and the IIci were released. A distinctly paler beige, for the more discerning gentleman or lady user... 😀
