I really like how Apple got rid of Pinstripes and I also like the newish look that leopard has for almost all windows. One problem: X11. I use Gimp and a few other apps constantly in X11 and they behave/look the same way that most apps looked in Tiger (or maybe even before that.) When they are active they have a whitish look that is slightly lighter than that of say Microsoft Word - I don't really mind this.

The problem is that when they are deactivated, it displays pinstripes! I HATE pinstripes 🙂! Anyway to fix this very low priority bug?

Off topic: Anyone noticed that Gimp seems to crash A LOT in Leopard?

If the effect is chosen by the application, then its up to the developer, otherwise it could be an Apple bug, there are a few similar bugs in X11 on Leopard

hmmm no pinstripes here.

What app(s) are you using? You cannot see the pinstripes when an X11 window is deactiviated?

Anyway, I got really sick of Leopard for this and many other reasons (random freezes) so I am now using Tiger, so I guess this thread is for other people now!
