i just got a new wireless mighty mouse for xmas and its not working properly, it will sync and work, but i cant name it, see the battery level, or assign the button functions. it didnt come with a software CD or any descriptive means of setting it up. any help would be nice.

new mighty mice (hehe) dont come with install cds as the drivers have been included since after 10.4.6.

i bought a wireless mighty mouse when i bought my macbook pro last year which had 10.4.6 installed. i installed the drivers and i was able to configure it. a while later i reintsalled OS X updated straight away to 10.4.9 and noticed the drivers where already installed. i recently did a clean install of leopard and the mighty mouse drivers are definitely included.

in leopard you should be able to rename the mouse and see the battery level under bluetooth in keyboard & mouse system preferences.
