Thinking about getting an i Mac in the Spring. This question has probably been asked a few times before, but my searching skills on this forum is still in it's infancy. What is the easiest way to move my i-tunes library from my current PC to my new i Mac. I have read that you can use your i Pod but I have more than 10gigs of music in my i Tunes library and only a 6 gig i Pod mini. Is there a way of using a cable between the 2 computers and importing from PC TO Mac.

Thanks in advance.

You can network the two machines via ethernet or a wireless network (ethernet cable is recommended for such a large transfer). From here it should be a matter of simply dragging your iTunes folder across to the new machine. 🙂

If you have large enough external hdd, you could put the songs on it, then transfer from the hdd to the Mac.

One thing though, it isnt i-Tunes, I-pod, or I-Mac, its just iPod, iTunes, and iMac.
(Just so you dont get scolded by other forum members 🙂
