I've got a 14" iBook G4 1Ghz and when the factory battery reached the end of it's useful life, I bought a new one from powerbookmedic.com, the night that I got the battery, the factory charger crapped out on me, so back to powerbookmedic.com. Now the battery charges very very very slowly (1%/30 minutes roughly) and while I'm using it, the percentage stays constant and it always says "calculating" on screen. I reset the PMU and still no change. Anyone have any ideas?

I hope I don't have a failing logic board. Bad news about the hardware test from the system disks, I don't have them. I bought the laptop from a friend and she couldn't find the disks. I was going to upgrade to 10.4 for my christmas present to me, but couldn't afford it. Kickin myself now.
