Powerbook G5 and dcb, thanks for the awesome conversation, it reminds me of a collective of us designers after 10 drinks at a pub...
PC are decent machines, macs are decent machines, in my experience, after being frustrated with windows, I chose to switch to mac, it has been a better user experience for me, with the software I use....(photoshop, illustrator, painter, indesign, etc) if I used office or something cad related I might perhaps feel the complete opposite, who knows.
I have both machines & OS's and I agree it is good to be well versed in both, I would miss my PC, especially the games....if my mac ever failed the PC would do the job just as well, it's all a matter of taste, I am glad the PC is there
