installing 9.2 on G4 15" powerbook

Formatted my drive and tried to reinstall 9.2 (PB version) and when i try to install it, i get the message

" This program cannot run on your computer. See the documentation for more information"

Looked at the documentation and all it says is to hlod down c on boot up, which i already do.

Can any one help me out on this one?

What 15" pb are you installing on? If it is a new Aluminum one - forget it. They wont load OS 9.

no, its the old 15 Au book. I have tried to install osx then 9.2 but no luck. also tried 9.2 first and still no joy. I just cant understand why this is happening.
thanks anyway.

Use the copy of os 9 that is on your restore disk. I think it's on disk 2.
