Caved-in and bought Once on DVD. I stopped byuying DVD's about a year ago in favor of iTunes and HD-DVD instead. Also picked up a coax stripper and some parts for shortening the length of my cable-tv cable, to try and improve the signal quality on several channels.

Is it just me, or are a lot of those prices very low?

I don't have it yet (ordered it online).

Good deal from Amazon. I ordered it expedited and it still came out to less than the full price.

40 litres of Euro 95 Unleaded gasoline (that's just regular stuff) at the local pump: 57 euros.

Here's a conversion for the US folks: 10.5 Gallons for $83.

About as low as possible - I spent the best part of 2 days trawling for ever cheaper components whilst remaining current-tech that holds plenty of upgrade potential

Seems a tad expensive, I just found a 28mm 2.8 Pentax M with a fully working body for £38.

It hasnt arrived yet despite me ordering it on the 12th December as a christmas present to myself but I bought (its a WD3200BEVT):
Thumb resize.

And I might buy one of these for my room (its a flag but I might get the poster instead):
Thumb resize.

And if iTunes purchases count then I guess Linkin Park "Live in Texas" as I bought that a few days ago. You can guess who my favorite band are

the stella and jack were purchased earlier in the night to pregame before the bar, so the drinking was spaced out I don't remember if there was more that was bought though...my wallet was empty the next day

and great deal on the shure's, congrats

Yeah - He had it with a bunch of other stuff, including a pristine body - but he wanted $250 for everything, and only was willing to part with it for $80 because it "ruined" his package. If I had the "extra" cash, I'd have gotten the body too, but I already have a good film SLR and similar lenses. Least this lens has the original box/case, all documentation, and is in like-new condition. In addition to that, he included three 52mm filters, which I can use on some other glass I own.

Also, I find that Nikon stuff is generally more expensive than Pentax/Minolta gear, simply because of the name.
