My ibook G4 has recently been running extremely slow, locking up especially in Safari. I searched around and read about checking your disk utility. I ran that but before it completes, I get this error and the option to repair this disk (where there is a problem it says, doesn't become active.
Error Message is below:

Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.
%)
Checking Extended Attributes file.
Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information.
Volume Header needs minor repair
d.",1)
Macintosh HD
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I will give that a try. I also assume that my memory only 256MB is VERY slow for a 60GB hard drive which is half full. I probably should upgrade, right?
