Stupidest question ever - Time Machine
Dear all
I have 2 quick questions about time machine I presume with Time Machine that you have to plug an external hard drive in to back up to?? When I did it took about 18 hours to transfer 60 gig across, this seems a long time? Thanks

You need another drive, whether external or internal. The first backup takes ages, but it should be much quicker from then on

the first update is the longest. mine took a couple hrs
for the first question, yea you need an external for all intents and purposes |
