Hi all i bought 5 eMacs at my local school auction. 4 of them are 700mhz and have airport cards installed, and one is a 1.0ghz (not sure about airport). I bought apple pro style keyboards and mice for them. They are in ok shape with some wear but seem to run fine. by wear i mean a little dirty, and some are missing speaker grills. My question is what should i be asking for them? i figured around $200 for the 700mhz and $300 for the 1.0ghz. Am i asking too much? I am coming to you all b/c i don't know where else to find this info out. Thanks for any and all help.

I sold a 1Ghz eMac about a year ago for $300, in good condition with 756MB RAM, the best way to find out how much yours are worth is to check recently ended auctions on ebay for the same configurations.

everymac.com gives rough estimates on used macs. however, their estimates are usually $100-200 higher than market depending on what it is. but you can expect significantly more if it's a collector's item in great condition w/ orig boxes and stuff.

another place to check is ebay > advanced search > completed listing only.

good luck. ;)

no it did not have an airport card. also keep in mind that this was a year ago so prices have probably dropped more.

yeah so $250 shipped is that a good price? i figure $50 for shipping b/c of the weight of these things. any suggestions?

I would probably sell it on craigslist and not deal with shipping because it will be costing a lot to ship, but that probably is a reasonable price for it.
