Panther New Features: Higher Quality Text-to-Speech

On the apple.com Panther "new features" page is mention of, quote: "Higher Quality Text-to-Speech Voice - Listen to text-to-speech applications with higher quality."

For anyone who has any insight on this, do you know which voice it is, or if it's ALL of the voices? The voices have always been a bit... "weird".. lol... so I was just wondering if there's a new one, and what it is. 🙂
 
To give the voices a sense of realism, they now pause at difficult words and try to sound them out like a 2nd grader learning to read rather than just spell them.

It also inserts ummms and the manner.
