iPod touch If I jailbreak the ipod touch will the warranty still be valid?

As the thread subject says, if I do jailbreak the ipod touch how will my warranty be affected? Would the engineers even begin to consider fixing it?

if u restore it they shouldnt be able to know
but if you dont restore it so the whole process is gone then nopee its not valid
