Sometimes I'll download a file to my XP desktop if my OS X.4.11 laptop is being used elsewhere in the house. When I get the laptop back I try to drag and drop the files from the desktop to the laptop, and sometimes I can do it, and other times I can't.
Specifically, I'm trying to move a zipped archive that is in multiple pieces to my laptop's external HDD, but I get a message saying, "this operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some items". I can't open the archive b/c it's not all in one piece yet.
I can't pinpoint if this happens with specific files yet, but any help would be appreciated.
