If I'm downloading a torrent and my settings are that my computer never goes to sleep but my display does, will the torrent continue downloading? I know if my computer is asleep, it won't download, but what If I'm downloading a torrent and but ONLY the display to sleep? Will it affect the download?

You can also ask yourself this question: What in your computer actually downloads the torrent? The display or the rest of the actual hardware + software? 😉

Hi there.
Putting the display to sleep is like turning the display off while leaving the rest of the computer running. Yes, your torrent will continue to download as well as everything else on your computer if you set the display to sleep.
No problems keeping the computer on for extended periods either (my Power Mac has been on probably 98% of the two and a half years I have had it).
