When Apple was trying to promote OS 10.2, it started a program in which it gave away a copy of the CD for FREE (ie, no S/H fees) to teachers and educators. I believe there was also a program that distributed Keynote for a very reduced price.

Does anyone know if there will be a similar program for 10.3? If so, any ideas about when it might start?

I'm trying to decide whether to wait or cough up the $60 or 70 educ price.

Thanks,
Geoff

They may do it, but I wouldn't expect anything too soon. The Jaguar deal was a good 6 months after it was released. I'd say if you want Panther now then just pay the $69.

I got Keynote in that promotion too--I believe it was bundled with something else for $15. Not bad.

they keynote thing was about a month after it was released .... i think jaguar was like november or december and jaguar was released in july
