I have a Windows XP PC where I shared a hidden share folder Data$

How do I connect to the hidden folder on the Mac?

command + K, then type in smb:// + IP address of the pc + the share. Here's one of mine for example: smb://192.168.1.6/c$

this does not work... i can mount a hidden folder from a windows machined like you mentioned (adding a $), but Mac OS X 10.5.8 complains about the "$"... tried '$', \$, "$", and plain $... to no avail
