Band You Discovered

What is your favorite band that you discovered on your own and not many people know about?

Mine: The Bad Plus. Amazing! They're a jazz trio (piano, bass, drums) with heavy rock influences. They do amazing covers of songs like Smells Like Teen Spirit, Iron Man, Tom Sawyer, Life on Mars, Chariots of Fire, etc. Their original music is fantastic, too. Very broad range of styles. And live... they have such great energy and are all excellent at their instruments.

Favorite songs: Giant, Flim, Cheney Pinata, Big Eater, Dirty Blonde

hey zdobson i think that someone has already done this post but im not going to pass up the chance reply but the main way i find out about new bands is just by wanting to hear more than i already had here are some of the bands ive discovered over the many years on my 1. ill also put the songs that made me want to here more.
