I have a friend with a PC with google gadgets who can get his gadgets to float nonstop in the corner of his screen. He just floats a clock and can make it in to a timer too.

Can we do this with our OS X widgets (10.4)?
Can we do this with our version of google gadgets?

I've never used Yahoo widgets, do they do this?

Thank you!

Has anyone found a google help / google group for OS X gadgets?

Does Apple have an official suggestions link for their widgets?

Thanks,

i think the program tinkertool lets you keep your dashboard widgets permanently on your desktop

This is not a 'great' solution but it works. If you open dashboard, and show all the widgets via the little plus sign in the lower left corner and drag the widget out into the window without letting go hit F12- or whatever key you have set to activate dashboard. The widget wil lstay on the desktop until you activate dashboard again.

I have this widget so I don't have to use Terminal to get into DevMode 🙂

AWESOME!!

now, I want to learn how to use google gadgets with this. It seems easy, and you can just drag them out...

but I did it with a timer. And then the google alert went off when the timer went off... and I could not figure out how to get the alert message to go away. Anyone figure it out while in DEV MODE?

the only solution I found is to turn off dev mode. Google and apple should fix this. Where do you submit feedback?
