MacSweeper security program appears to be a scam

The first "rogue" application for Macs?
Macs never were immune to apps that tell lies. No OS ever will be. This scam may be of interest in that it asks for money, but it's not the "first" of anything significant. There have been "bad" Mac apps in the past. No successful worms, viruses, or spyware, but deceptive apps have occasionally appeared.
I like the term "rogue" app though--a nice vague new term I like "potentially unwanted" even better. That would make a good T-shirt.
