iPod touch iPod Touch Price Adjustment in Canada?

I've search and haven't seen this discussed anywhere, but did anyone else notice that Apple dropped the price of the 16 Gb Touch on Tuesday from $449 to $419 in Canada, but left it at $399 in the US? I think Apple's actually taking steps towards recognizing the dollar parity! Did this noticeably happen on any other products?

(And now, the fact that I was able to buy my Touch on sale after xmas for $399 is all making sense... as $399+$20=$419 😉 )

I noticed that as well.

Also noticed that 16GB versions are $399 and 8 are $299 at FutureShop and Best Buy, when on sale. These are the regular prices at Costco, I believe.

When I bought mine on January 30th at Future Shop in Canada, they matched the US price of $399. I didn't even have to ask for it.

I bought mine a week ago at CND449 from an apple store but after steve's keynote, they had a price adjustment to CND419. So, I went back to the store yesterday and got refunded CND50 + tax. Price of the old ipod touch without the software upgrade is at CND399. So, I got my upgrade through iTunes yesterday for CND20. So, yeah, they took that into account🙂

the price has been adjusted twice...

it went from $449 to $399 by mid or end of November 07, and now back to $419. (I could have swear it was $429 yesterday but apparently it was not. Don't think they would change twice in a week).

Anyway, why did the price go up this week? I don't know, but it does not make sense. The Cad$ is still on par with the US$ and some of the products are the same price in both stores, but most are a little higher in the canadian one. 😕
