I know this was asked before, but I can't seem to find the thread. Sorry.

How do you combine movies that come on two disks into one mp4 file? I am trying to encode the extended version of LOTR. Before I had an ATV I simply used QT Pro to combine the two files. But this produces a .mov container, which plays fine on the computer but not on the ATV.

So, is it possible? And if so, how do I do it? Thanks.

VH will do it.

In QT Pro, you have to Export it to the :apple:TV format.

Thanks for the quick responses. I'll try QT Pro again, this time using the ATV export, since it's what I have. If that doesn't work then I'll buy VH.
