Make sure u download the new i tunes 1st

then, yes its really easy !

Cost is £12.99 for the app's.

You simply accept the 1.1.3 update then you are asked if you want the upgrade fpr the app's. Confirm and it takes you to i tunes store and account where you confirm your password and confirm.

The updates/upgrades take a little time.

Make sure you have sync'd your i pod touch and then after the updating has finished eject the ipod touch. Check and hey presto you have the app's.

Now many have said why should i pay for this.
Make your own mind up on this one but I would support getting them or keep the machone to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 and jailbreak > Your choice in the end.

regrets

I sort of regret it..I had all those applications before through the jailbreak. I miss my lastfm scrobbler application and the novelty value of pocket guitar...Cant wait for the 1.1.3 jailbreak.
🙁

I sort of miss iRadio and the last.fm scrobbler too...

But a similar app is released today (hopefully) http://flytunes.fm - looks likes it steams radio stations as MP3s so the iPod can play in Safari... Just need to install on your Mac or PC....

Could be interesting.

I updated the 1.1.3 software but I didn't get the option to download the new apps.

Does anybody know how I can still download the new apps?

You don't actually need to download them - they should just appear on your iPod after it restarts.

Not necessarily. Simply installing 1.1.3 does not activate the new applications. You need to go to the iTunes Store. There is a link to purchase the 5 app pack right in the middle of the page.

Yeah, supposing that link actually works.
Currently you cannot buy the apps, the page lists only the offer and an "OK" button.
