Guys I have been using Linux for the past 10 years yesterday I splurged and bought a new imac and a apple tv [ to be delivered shortly] I have backed up all my dvd movies onto a 1 terrabyte linux server and again on a western digital mybook , Can I stream from itunes avi or mpeg2 movies or do I have to rip my dvds into mp4 movies to watch them on apple tv?
Also I have dvd's of ghost whisperer and kids movies etc etc should I rip them into mp4 and put them into my Itunes ?
Thanks in advance.
