serious help needed pronto please!

my gf's new dell m1330 has died. the drive appears to be corrupt. her school assignment is needed asap. can I pull the drive from her pc and shove it in my mac book and boot her drive to firewire mode and recover the needed files to another mac machine.

let me know! thanks!

another pc reliability issue.....

You can get cheap adaptors that plug into a HD in one end and the other end plugs into USB.
That's probably a better option.

My idea worked. The pc drive booted in my macbook to FireWire mode.
Crisis averted.

Wow, I didn't think that would work! Awesome. I knew that hooking it up via firewire to PC (with the Mac drive in there) would work, but I didn't think that a PC drive in the mac would.

That is something to remember.
