Anyway, thanks for the advice from all, and the links for future references (although I don't intend to delete anything again!)
$60 for data recovery off a camcorder was a fantastic deal. Congratulations on getting your memories back!

Hello everyone. I have a big problem.
I deleted a video from my camera, and used testdisk but it can find only recent photos and some videos. I used the demo of Photo Recovery too and it found like 10 videos, .avi videos, but they don't open (probably because it's a demo, right?) HELP ME!!

Yup, if I remember the Photo Rec demo will show you what it can find but you then need to pay if you want them. If testdisk didn't work then you might be out of options.

Files found when plugged into computer

I know this thread is super old, but just an FYI so that people can try it for any future mishaps. My daughter was playing with my camcorder and deleted all her 2nd birthday videos and some Disneyland videos. I was devastated, but I was going to try and use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to try and recover deleted files, but as soon as I plugged in my camcorder via USB to my computer the files were still in a folder. So even though they did not show up on my camcorder menu, they were in the SD Video folder of the camcorders internal memory. Try it and I hope it works for anyone. I thought I was going to have to cry myself to sleep.

Deleted Video Recovery from Panasonic Camcorder

I accidentally hit delete all when trying to delete a specific file. I've lost a couple of days worth before I could stop it. Now I reckon my camcorder isn't that smart and so hasn't overwritten the files the same as using "secure empty trash". It uses a DOS format drive so I think the files are still there, they've just been hidden by the system until they get overwritten, and the good news is I switched it off and haven't used it since.

I tried showing all hidden files using the terminal but nothing new comes up.

Any ideas?

I'm using a MacBook with 10.5 Leopard but can use Panther or OS9 if need be.

Well you don't have to worry. No matter you accidentally deleted videos from Panasonic camcorder or video are lost due to reasons like card formatting, memory card corruption, file system damage or virus infection with the help of Camcorder video recovery tool you can easily restore lost videos in few steps. It can recover lost videos from range of storage media like memory card, memory stick, USB drive, Mac hard drive etc. It is easy to use and compatible with MacBook Air, MacBook Pro etc. Just download the software, connect the Panasonic camcorder and start scan to retrieve lost video file.
