I've deleted some files off of an external hard drive, MS-DOS format.
Now I reckon they are still there, my understanding of drives is that they are hidden (or renamed) by the system until they get overwritten, and the good news is I switched it off and haven't used it since.
I tried showing all hidden files using the terminal but nothing new comes up.
Any ideas?
