1.42 iBook 275.00? good or bad price?

I just purchased a 1.42 ibook for 256 on ebay.

the computer i have right now is a

500 mhz dual powermac g4

will this preform better then the powermac?

That is one heck of a steal, even a 800MHz G4 is $300.

Seems like a good deal to me I don't know if it will perform better than the powermac though.

i paid like 289 for my 900mhz ibook, but its slooww it is a g3 though, i think the 1.42 ibook might be just a bit faster than that powermac though

If the only damage are the two screen blemishes, I think you got a great deal. I haven't seen an iBook with those specs so cheap. Good find!
