Hello, I am relatively new to Mac and this Forum. I would be very grateful of some advice. I have a Mac-Pro with Tiger osx 10.4 on it .The Hard-Drive it came with is only 250GB which i am fast filling up. I only have the manufacturers reset disc. I now want to install a second 1-Terabyte Hard-Drive and transfer the entire contents of my existing drive over onto it; including the operating system(osx10.4) and just use the original Hard Drive for storage. Can i do this ? and would i need any application/program ? Thanks.

CCC is nice and the way to go, but since you're new to mac, you might also benefit from taking a peek at what's in your Applications--Utilities folder. "Disk Utility", for instance, can do a lot of what CCC can do.

Still, CCC is the way to go.
