Trying to record sound via Line in

I want to transfer my French tapes to my new Powerbook G4. I can't seem to find any simple sound recording utility in OS X.
Is there one in there somewhere?
If not what is an easy freeware?😀

Spark ME 2.8 works well enough for 2 tracks.

Audio Hijack - I use this app all the time; it works great. It is shareware, but you can try before you buy.

Final Vinyl - I haven't used this one, but it's free if that's what you're looking for.
